1st Round Pick Center Anton Gustafsson - He was waived by the Capitals on July 20, 2011. He wasn't claimed and he's played in Sweden.
1st Round Pick Defenseman John Carlson - On Capitals, no longer a prospect.
2nd Round Pick Defenseman Eric Mestery - He retired from hockey in 2010.
2nd Round Pick Right Wing Dmitry Kugryshev - He was placed on unconditional waivers and his contract was terminated. He returned to Russia.
4th Round Pick Goaltender Braden Holtby - On Capitals, no longer a prospect.
5th Round Pick Forward Joel Broda - He is no longer property of the Capitals.
6th Round Pick Left Wing Greg Burke - He finished his University of New Hampshire career this past season. I'm not sure if the Capitals will sign him by the deadline at this time.
7th Round Pick Stefan Della Rovere - He is no longer property of the Capitals.
